In the past Android has never been a very attractive operating system . If you compared a Nexus device to competing smartphone devices you would have been underwhelmed by the Nexus experience . Samsung will be updating many of their current Deviices to ICS this January . The first devices to receive the update will be their Galaxy S2 smartphone and their Galaxy Tab tablet range.

When ICS was released it featured a greatly improved UI experience and for the first time Android looked like a finished , polished and premium OS without the need for manufacturer UI overlays.

Considering the beautiful stock appearance it would be disappointing if manufacturers use their own UI customization that hides and disrupts this new polished Android version. An early build of the ICS ROM for the … Read More
